Ramadan Message from Ambassador Yamamoto
On behalf of the U.S. Embassy in Somalia, I extend our warmest wishes to all Somalis observing Ramadan.
During this holy month, I hope Somalia’s leaders will be inspired by the basic tenets of reflection, tolerance, forgiveness, and reconciliation to agree to a way forward to resolve the electoral crisis.
This is the surest path to a stable, peaceful, and prosperous future for Somalia’s people.
The U.S. Embassy family and I wish you a blessed and healthy Ramadan.
